Experiments with Bio-Photons – Dr. Fritz-Albert Popp – Bio-Photons serve for Communication

Ability to Store and Release Light is a Key Aspect of how DNA works – During stress extra bursts of light are emit and contain the information cells need to Heal themselves – Photon Radiation and Absorption serve for Communication – Experiments with Bio-Photons

Dr. Fritz-Albert Popp (1938-2018) was a theoretical biophysicist who taught at the University of Marburg in Germany and carried out research at several other German educational institutions. He was a member of the New York Academy of Sciences and the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. He continued to carry out research through the International Institute of Biophysics in Neuss, Germany on biophoton research and coherence systems in biology. Biophotons (from the Greek βίος meaning “life” and φῶς meaning “light”) are photons of light in the ultraviolet and low visible light range that are produced by a biological system.

Carcinogen zapped with UV light absorbs the light and then sent it back out at a totally different frequency

His story is related in Lynn McTaggart’s book The Field. He started out by examining an extremely deadly carcinogen (benzo[a]pyrene). It is found in coal tar, tobacco smoke and many foods, especially grilled meats. “Itsdiol epoxide metabolites (BPDE) react and bind to DNA, resulting in mutations and eventually cancer.” When he zapped the carcinogen with UV light, he found it absorbed the light, but then sent it back out at a totally different frequency.

Every single Cancer-causing Substance would Rearrange UV Light the same Way

A similar chemical, bezo[e]pyrene, did not scramble the light, and is not deadly. He studied 37 other chemicals – some were carcinogens – and found every single cancer-causing substance would rearrange UV light the same way. All consistently targeted the frequency of 380 nanometers – they all took in this 380 nm light and rearranged it to a different frequency.

380 nm Light has the best Photo Repair Effects on the Cell

He then learned about ‘photo repair’. If you blast a cell with UV light so 99% of the cell, including the DNA, is destroyed, you can almost entirely repair the damage in a single day just by illuminating the cell with the same wavelength of a very weak intensity. This is well known, but not understood. Incidentally, the best photo repair effects were already known to occur at 380 nm.

Magical Mistletoe

Dr. Popp then tested a variety of plant extracts to see if any of them changed the quality of light emissions from a human body – to find a cure for the light-scrambling effects of cancer. Only one substance worked: mistletoe.

The progress of magnetism will someday reveal to us the absorbing properties of mistletoe

Interestingly enough, mistletoe was sacred as symbolic of the universal medicine to the Druids. “The Druids were priests and physicians, curing by magnetism and charging amulets with their fluidic influence. Their universal remedies were mistletoe and serpents’ eggs, because these substances attract the astral light in a special manner. The solemnity with which mistletoe was cut down drew upon this plant the popular confidence and rendered it powerfully magnetic…The progress of magnetism will someday reveal to us the absorbing properties of mistletoe. We shall then understand the secret of those spongy growths which drew the unused virtues of plants and become surcharged with tinctures and savors. Mushrooms, truffles, gall on trees, and the different kinds of mistletoe will be employed with understanding by a medical science, which will be new because it is old…” (Levi, Eliphas, The History of Magic, Red Wheel/Weiser, 1913)

Popp wanted to find out if the human body was storing and giving off light, so he challenged a student to the task.

Bernhard Ruth’s Experiments

Bernhard Ruth was a graduate student of Popp’s. Ruth wanted to prove light was not in the body; but ended up proving otherwise. He was tasked by Popp to build a machine which used a photomultiplier enabling it to count light, one photon at a time.

Potatoes emit high intensity of Light – and their emissions is Extremely Coherent (highly structured, like a laser beam)

He found high intensity light being emitted from cucumber seedlings – the seedlings were giving off photons significantly stronger than Popp had expected. Ruth believed it was due to chlorophyll – so they switched to potatoes. They found potatoes (with no chlorophyll) grown in the dark registered an even higher intensity of light – and their emissions were extremely coherent (highly structured, like a laser beam).

Ability to Store and Release Light is a Key Aspect of how DNA works

Next, Popp and Ruth used DNA. They hit the DNA with a chemical called ethidium bromide which causes DNA to unwind and die. The more he blasted it with the chemical, the more light burst out of it. Popp concluded: the ability to store and release light was a key aspect of how DNA works. He found DNA was one of the most essential stores of light and sources of biophoton emissions.

DNA is Capable of Sending out Large Range of Frequencies

He also found DNA was capable of sending out large range of frequencies and some frequencies seemed linked to certain functions. Dr. Popp discovered all living things, from the most basic to most advanced, continuously emitted a permanent current of photons.

The more Complex, the fewer Photons were Emitted

The more complex, the fewer photons were emitted. Rudimentary animals or plants give off significantly more light (about 100 photons/sq.inch) than humans do (about 10 photons/sq. Inch). This was coherent, high-frequency light, ranging between 200-800 nm, well above the visible range.

DNA uses Frequencies as Information Tools

He found DNA uses frequencies as information tools – suggesting a feedback system of perfect communication through waves which encode and transfer information. He also discovered if he shined light on living cells, they would first absorb it, then release an intense burst of new light after a brief period of time – he called this “delayed luminescence”.

DNA is source of Energy and Vitality

Researcher David Wilcock states, “Our DNA apparently stashes away light as if it were a direct source of energy and vitality. If the DNA gets too much light, it sends it back out.” Popp believed that, unlike waste, these light emissions were serving a very useful purpose – they contained information. Specifically, these light pulses carried the codes to reestablish order and balance throughout the body.

During stress extra bursts of light are emit and contain the information cells need to heal themselves

He also found that we give off much more photons when we’re going through stress. Wilcock states, “It appears that these extra bursts of light contain the information our cells need to heal themselves – from all the damage we’ve been causing them through negative emotions.” “Health was a state of perfect subatomic communication, and ill health was a state where communication breaks down.” (McTaggart, Lynn, The Field: The Quest for the Secret Force of the Universe, Harper Perennial, 2001)

Dr. Popp & Photon Radiation and Absorption serve for Communication

Dr. Popp found wave resonance wasn’t simply being used to communicate inside the body, but between living things. He studied the water flea Daphnia and found that as one flea emitted light, the other fleas absorbed it. He also found small fish were absorbing light from each other. Sunflowers would position themselves to soak up the maximum number of photons and bacteria would soak up light from their surroundings.
